I completely understand and respect the author taking a longer hiatus for their health. Burnout is very real, and I’d much rather they take the time they need to recover properly than push through and make things worse. Their well-being should always come first.
That said, I can’t help but feel a bit frustrated with how Juheon and Dohu’s storyline has been handled since the start of the season. It feels like there hasn’t been any real progress in their relationship, and instead it’s been a cycle of one step forward and three steps back.
At times, it almost feels like the author wrote themselves into a corner with how things developed.
I’m still looking forward to the comeback and hoping that this break gives the author the clarity and energy to move the story forward in a more satisfying way.
i feel the same way. i wrote a comment about this a while ago, but i feel like the timeskip was such a lazy way to progress the story, because honestly i've seen it been done hundreds of times and they all end the same way (friendship, relationship, falling out, timeskip, meet again, relationship, misunderstanding, relationship again for good this time- or something of the sort) i really hope the author takes time to reflect how to properly go about this story because i really do love it, and ive been holding out during this timeskip to see what she'll do with it. i hope it doesn't go about that typical style but i do hope it ends well for our boys, this is an amazing story with even more amazing art and it really does deserve the best.
I think the reason for the time skip was to show how deep Dohu’s love ran for Juheon (because we know that he doesn’t believe anyone will love him). The author has been really good with the story so far, so I trust that she knows what she’s doing. Also, I’m not really sure what you meant by everything ending the same way, as isn’t that the only way to end it (other than the couple never getting back together, or I might just be dumb.. sorry!!)??
And of course it’s right when I came here to theorize about what’s going to happen this week... but nah march 28th it is...
Anyway, here’s what I was thinking.
Now that Dohu seems to understand what’s really going on with Juheon, and considering how worried he looked about Juheon’s health (which is completely fair, because Juheon was visibly wobbly and groggy at the end of the chapter when he ran into his aunt in the alley near his apartment), I feel like Dohu is definitely going to show up at Juheon’s place.
Since the aunt was still in the alley, maybe Dohu will overhear her ranting about everything she’s put Juheon through. And maybe that’s when it finally clicks for him that he himself was used as blackmail against Juheon. If that happens, I can totally see Dohu confronting her and finally putting her in her place.
And then… maybe, just maybe, this is the moment Juheon and Dohu properly reconcile. Or, alternatively, Juheon finally collapses from all the stress, and when he wakes up, Dohu is there taking care of him.
March 28th can’t come fast enough.

I have a feeling this is going to end with either Juheon or Dohu getting hurt. Honestly, I really want to see Dohu protecting Juheon and getting injured in the process, which will finally make Juheon snap out of his self-loathing slump and stop ignoring Dohu.
Also… why is their scene set in a construction zone? From my years of reading manga and manhwa, I know something bad is bound to happen there ughhh
Sinclair travelled back in time to save in Martin, got too far and had to wait 640 years, but we don't see what exactly he did to get to save Martin and stop the wolves from chasing him. How was their dynamic affected? Did Sinclair ever tell him the truth about how he rewinded time? Just feels really rushed. And that's why I always have a problem with stories using time travel cause it just feels like everything we witnessed in the story's timeline got erased BUT somehow all the dynamics managed to remain the same??

Since ppl are also saying it, lemme join them by saying the 1st couple was such a drag. mc was so annoying, ml was frustrating. I was considering dropping it till 2nd couple potential appeared (Eunho thinking Rak-hyun was more of his type??So I kept reading to see where it lead and it happened! (=・ω・=))
I love the toxicity of the 2nd couple, like their connections (both are exes of the original mc, one is a virgin, the other one is a twisted guy who just wants to play around), their overall dynamic is really entertaining to watch and you can't wait to see how their relationship evolve!
For a vampire, not as spicy as I wanted it to be (felt more like shounen-ai than yaoi). And yes I loved the dynamic of the 2nd couple as well
