(Spoilers and I copied most from Reddit so some things may be left out idk) Back in middle school, Jiwook betrayed Juyeon in the worst way. The two had grown close and started developing feelings for each other, but Jiwook panicked at the thought of being exposed (homophobia both external and internalized). Afraid the other boys would target him, he deflected everything onto Juyeon and letting them believe Juyeon was the “problem” and even going along with their cruelty to protect himself. What followed was relentless bullying that escalated into sexual abuse. The perpetrators eventually sent incriminating material (photos or videos) to Juyeon’s mother, which caused her to suffer a severe mental breakdown and be hospitalized. Long story short, Jiwook loses his memory due to a physical injury, so he ends up forgetting what he did to Juyeon. Juyeon’s trauma traces directly back to Jiwook’s betrayal. In the present, Juyeon sets out for revenge and kidnaps Jiwook, but as things continue, his motivation shifts. What begins as revenge slowly turns into something darker, he realizes he doesn’t just want revenge, he takes satisfaction in dominating Jiwook. After enduring prolonged sexual violence, beatings, humiliation, and psychological manipulation, Jiwook develops severe trauma symptoms consistent with Stockholm Syndrome.

From the spoilers i have read jiwook graped jooyeon while they were in highschool bt jiwook doesn't remember due to some accident and lost that part of his memories so jooyeon is enacting his revenge on him thus everything he has done to him so far
