AGE OF CONSENT IN JAPAN IS 13 YEARS OLD. Different cultures people. Thankfully in Japan they treat teenagers as adults in training and expect them to make their own choices early. It creates a culture of responsible adults where as in the US we treat teens as children then say, okay your 18, now your adult even though the day before you were a child.... it makes no sense.
