Nothing. It was after post Soviet times. There was actually a somewhat trend were husbands would beat their wifes. Should i add that they throw to her chair while she was running from the house??? My mother saw it all as she was the eldest, but those after her sibling did not want to believe her, untill grandfather almast hit grandma in front of mother's lil brother. Also, you know why that incident started? It was bc the lil sisters of grandfather were displeased with the fact that she slightly loudly shut the door. Maybe bc of those things we, those born 1998-2005 would be beaten up by parents bc of shutting the door swayed up by anger? We were not allowed to show neither tears neither anger

There is a family where husband is cheating his wife, but unstead of apologies, he gives hit to the wife and two children. Btw, the wife is pregnant too, she works too, and do chores. There is my classmate who's father after being drunk came and starts beating her mother, once he even broke window. Her little sister also died when she was 12. Soooo many memories. Well...kinda sad...but our government is corrupted, and after Soviet union. Especially our country was oppressed that way, we now even fear to go to meetings. Recently the guy was arrested apparently bcs of "corruption and money embezzlement", while he had no money, to at least send his son to Turkey to study, having "that much money" and helping my little sister to not lose her hand bc of burning

It actually does not matter where i am from as all countries of Soviet union are like that. Even Russia. But i live in Kazakhstan. And truth to be told our condition here is much better than that of other post Soviet countries.though not much better from that of USA and Europe
