AHHHH i was so scared about this chapter, seeing it drawn hurts even more ;-;
Edric is still my goat, I know she'll never love anyone like she does Varkas, but MAN i wish there was a timeline where she fell for Edric and never suffered everything that's going to happen to her :(

Had to take a break, I feel so bad for Ercella, the post-partum depression she went through at such a young age and her (im sorry) USELESS HUSBAND while she was going through it. 'what's wrong with you' I dunno HARZEN maybe she was left all alone during a very vulnerable time, believing - and rightly so - that she has no power or allies to support her and anything she has including her child could so easily disappear. AAA

Also I felt so bad for her son, yes she was going through a lot but I'm not going to excuse her or anyone else from how he was treated as well, the poor boy probably felt so alone and unloved by both his parents. As much as it does feel a bit too late, I am glad he is getting shown affection from his mother now and their relationship seems to be restoring well!!

Also some little things that I've appreciated about this, in lots of these stories the ML will provide everything and give so many expensive gifts and things to the MC, in some cases the MC really only has what the ML gives her but it's always portrayed in such a positive light, like oh wow how generous and loving of the ML! But then Vicente found out that yes his mother has access to many things.. if she asks for permission. Of course Harzen will buy her this, and of course he'll let her out of the house if she asks, she has so much freedom! The life of a woman, the noblest in the land even, is still so constrained. She has no authority despite how high her status is, even her own 15 yr old son has more power than her :(
Also I do like how Harzen and her have never had a bad relationship, so often in these stories the two leads will have a cold marriage and never speak because of a silly misunderstanding, they make it a point that they got along quite well but were never in love with each other, which was a nice change of pace.

Anyway I'm really enjoying this, and even though I have a bone to pick with Harzen, I'll let it slide if Ercella is happy (sigh Juan you could have been so good for her..)

Im lowkey loving this concept so much?? Like reverse reincarnation is actually so fun, learning little bits of their past relationship is fascinating!
Also normally I hate MLs like him but I dunno why I'm so invested lmaooo normally I'd be rooting for the SL, but here I actually want MC to match the MLs freak lololol
He just seems like a fun yandere IDKKK

I made a comment earlier only talking about Astrid - how her dislike of her husband is valid but I do not like how she treats her kids - as other people say it is classic emotional abuse behaviour saying things like 'youre just like your dad/mom' as an excuse to be cruel to them. Which is awful..

HOWEVER, I did forget to say ANYTHING about the dad and grandpa!!! The adults in this are all AWFUL (except for Leticia's original stage family they were cool...), like lets NOT forget the dad and grandad were perfectly happy with killing a child - whether they were planning on doing it in the end to me does not manner, they way they spoke to Leticia as grown ass adults was disgusting.

I just want these kids to all grow up okay, they've been handed the worst hand in terms of the adults taking care of them, but at least they have each other :((

I support Astrid's divorce tbh, like if you don't feel loved and don't like being around someone I really dont see why she shouldnt LOOOL

HOWEVER, I don't like how she treats her sons like girl thats YOUR CHILD!! With her husband like whatever he's an adult he'll get over it, but you cannot be making your son think you don't love him just because he can't express his feelings properly :((

Guys idc i'm tired of hiding it I LIKE THE MESS!!! I wouldn't have read all of this if I didn't! There's plenty of cute fluffy stories and badass villainess stories out there, but maybe I just want to see some messy bitches be messy looool

I'm dying waiting for the hiatus to be over but glad the artist is taking care of themself... ughhh I cannot wait to see how this ends!!
