Getting straight to the point: in looking at this issue clinically: A single instance of attraction isn't a diagnosis of pedophilia. Clinical diagnosis (of pedophilic disorder specifically) requires recurrent, intense sexual urges/fantasies or behavior over a period of at least 6 months, and clinically significant distress or impairment, or the person having acted on the urges with a non-consenting person and Age gap alone isn't diagnostic criteria. The diagnostic frameworks look at the age/developmental stage of the person the attraction is directed toward, not the age gap between the two people.
Showing the DSM-5 Categorization of Pedophilia:
Pedophilic Disorder (DSM-5)
• Classified under paraphilic disorders
• 6 month period of recurrent, intense, sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behaviors involving sexual activity with a prepubescent child (< 13)
• Has acted on these urges or they cause distress/interpersonal difficulty
• Age 16 or older and 5 years older than child
Due to now connected space we currently have, people are now aware to pedophilia resulting to numerous child sexual abuse results, the awareness of bad actions to others is a good thing and myst be encourage to bring in awareness. But also with the term now circling around, people have tendency to loosely use specific terms with categorization words that should not be thrown off so lightly. It is so-called SEMANTIC DIFFUSION or SEMANTIC BLEACHING — related but slightly different: a word loses its original intensity/specificity through overuse.
My whole point is we should never throw in words to lightly at heavy issues and crimes against humanity.
Will use mc and ml instead of names for I am lazy and idk if I spelled MC's name right.
MC: Geonmu/Gunmu
ML: Theo
Chapter 61:
MC does some reflecting while Theo is sleeping with documents on and in the morning, MC and ML talked a bit for due to mc sleep deprived face, ml is concerned of him and ofc, mc has to lie he is alright. ML met with Crystal in a cafe where he had another deal with her in exchange of some info especially with mc. Our girlie crystal tried to spill everything ml asked for exchange of her safety and a new identity/life so, ml knew about mc's racket while mc, crystal and j are a team and of course, ml asked about who is the mysterious man that tipped crystal the location of mc. Of course the clue crystal gave is the "take care of my younger brother" line since she has not seen the man. And with mc distress and the recent events.. ml pieced out together the facts he gathered.
Conclusion: the one that got mc into the mess he is now.. the red diamond, the location, the straggle marks and his distress linked to one person.. mc's brother.
Chapter 62:
Back to mc and his brother, Jin.. Jin showed a photo of a guy that he claimed has betrayed Jin for selling goods. He asked MC to take care of the guy.. meant to actually kill the guy. ofc mc tried to reason he cannot do it which Jin tried to gaslight and tell mc he can do the killing part and to stop acting like a noble. That both of them are the same.. On next scenes, both of them pursued the guy in photo and at a empty warehouse, gagged and tortured the guy. The torturing ofc is done by Jin and mc is just at the side. Jin is done with his business and left them there but he is not too far away from the two.. MC had recalled of his past and now faced with the decision... in the end, mc had released the guy from the gagged and helped him... and that is the end..
My reaction:
but everything in chapter 62 is too sus.. like a set up or something.. I am afraid for MC's sake. His brother is the reason he got involved in life of crime before he was left alone bleeding before they got separated and now.. he wanted mc to sank deeper into the darkness and teach him how to act criminal.

Tell your past to Taebom.. You are now being swept into bad situations due to your ex.
