Y'all help me out here — anyone knows any story that is like this?
Yay ! So, listen, it’s often the second couples’ stories that perfectly embody the enemies-to-lovers trope in a tsundere-ish and spicy way, similar to the vibes between Jooeon and Pilsang. That's why many of these couples start off as toxic red flags but eventually turn into green flags as they grow and mature within the relationship.
**The first one that comes to mind is the second couple in Cherry Complex (Cherry Picking), Rakhyun and Eunho. They are the perfect example of problematic characters falling in love and ending up being wholesome and a better OTP than the main couple. (There will be side stories about them set to be released in April, so yay !)
**Then there's Bad Apple (also a sequel focusing on a second lead character), the sexual tension between Adrian and Enzo is chef’s kiss ! The story is currently on hiatus after season 1 ended last year, and I believe it will return in May.
**There’s also the second couple in Arts Manz, Joohyuk and Woojin, whose story begins in chapter 40, I think. They have a similar dynamic to early Jooeon and Pilsang, especially since the uke was also a top turned bottom— just like Pilsang, lol ~
(Adrian from Bad apple too is a top turned bottom now that I think about it ლ(´ڡ`ლ) !)
Finally, there’s Body Complex — which was a bit rushed and a little nutty, but nostalgic enough for me to include it on the list.
(Note: Some, if not all, of these stories involve themes of SA and dubious consent, as these couples are often characters who played villains in previous works but get a chance at character development, redemption, and a happy ending — kind of like Jooeon and Pilsang but more toxic. Just wanted to mention that upfront ! )
I mainly focused on manhwas cause I don’t know if you’re into mangas too, but I have a bunch of those as well ^^ !
This is waaaay better than the original story
the og story was good but it wasn't as interesting as this one, the romance on the og was okay if you like fluff tho. I think this story has more flavor compared to the og one bc in this one we're more focused on the backstory of the characters and their relationship with each other, but in the og I felt like the focus was on what was going on outside and also they had a looooot of sex. Also I feel like this manhwa has a more mature pov compared to the og
So I just am starting to read this and I'll be honest, I don't like the black-haired guy. One thing I hate the most are people who lies about things that could ruin a person's life. I know this is fiction — but fk those liars. I will drop it in 5 more chapters if I don't see a single silver lining here.
I found the manhwa because of the K-drama and tried to read it. I already didn’t like Taehyun while watching the drama, so I dropped it. My friend kept watching, but I stopped. Then I tried the manhwa, but my anger issues couldn’t handle it, so I dropped it too. Now that Season 2 is coming, I gave it a second chance, but I still couldn’t continue. I like the actors though—I even discovered Omega X because of this drama. Anyway, I’ll give it a third chance after my exams^^
Fortunately, this is the peak that I'm perfectly okay to miss. Making up lies about someone of great consequence never sat right with me — it's always there at the top of my head that this character is a pos which makes it hard for me to be empathetic or feel any sort of attachment to that character, especially if they are the leads — I may be more lenient if this is a side character.
Must be because I read Life by Keiko Suenobu years ago and also know someone personally who got his life ruined because of a lie that the instigator only claimed to be a "joke" — so this set up never sat right with me.
Good for y'all though that you liked it.

omg, they are so domestic — it's making my heart flutter. I read the new chapter earlier at a few minute drop and I'm on my fourth read
