the art is so funky (i love the poses!) and gorgeous and holy hell all of the characters are so fine for no reason, goddamn. janomes art is so interesting and i can see the experimentation in her works. the fluidity, gorgeous details and poses work so well with her storytelling and pace. the characters felt so alive for a short 7 chapter story and thank god we didnt get any unnecessary drama that dragged the story. homeboys went for the kill from the getgo and im proud. i'm real sad that the spinoff with the movie pres is discontinued, but we atleast got this gem
rather who was right or wrong, i felt more sad about the fact that this manga supposed to be a spin off of andou and yonemura, andou literally felt like a side character and an after thought and the author chose to focus more on yonemuras and that mole guys relationship. they literally had more scenes and development than the main pairing??? the scene where mole guy was confessing and basically takling shit about andou, yonemura still remained passive and didnt defend his relationshiop or andou. at that point it felt like it really didnt matter whether the uke met the seme first or the mole guy, either one could do. literally both their circumstances were so identical. yeah yeah yonemura was still thinking of andou when mole dude was confessing, whole thing felt like an after thought just so the author could remind us who the main pairing was again. i was heartbroken in the scene where andou fled and yonemura just remained where he was and that just showed us that no character development was made.
also bruh mole dude was literally about to fucking punch his mom? honestly he was such an asshole.
