I feel like everyone's saying the ml is a dickhead and he's definitely not an angel (no one really is lol) but isn't the best friend even more of an ass? I get so pissed off when he shows up lately I'll be real. At the beginning he was fine but now he's just annoying and acting like a baby about a guy he had all these years to make a move on but he just didn't. Now that the mc is actually trying things out he's pissed off? Butt out mf lol. I like that the ml had actual concern when he thought mc got pregnant and tried to take accountability and help (though I wish he told me of course). I don't know what's gonna happen with ml's friend if anything but I'm glad ml didn't try to get him involved either. I don't think he's as big of an asshole as everyone is tryna make him out to be I'll be real. The one other thing I can say I didn't appreciate he's done is at the beginning when he pounced on mc drunk, that was shitty. But he's since redeemed himself from that imo.
So far I've cringed like once (Rowan saying he's a "panther ") so that's good, but also the pacing is so whack actually. I was hoping I misread and it was 3 months instead of 3 years but it wasn't?? Bro? I feel like the whole love triangle whatever should've been a side story thing instead of something that's already in chapter 14, there's too many subplots, etc. going on at once and I think some parts just need to marinate before moving on. Esp I believe we should've gotten a motive for Rafael immediately pouncing on Rowan + more action with Rowan easing into accepting Rafael instead of immediate reciprocation. Idk man that's just my opinion dawg maybe it'll get better
This story is such a breath of fresh air I love it when a story is good and interesting without terrible rapey side plots but also not straight up complete green flags yk, this is just where I like it to be
