I could not care less whether Byul is an omega or alpha cause I'm just excited for his story. But, in terms of art, I prefer alpha Byul way more than omega Byul. I was expecting a super attractive omega but no offense his character design looks like an annoying side character who comes in as a plot device to break up the main couple. Like tryin to steal the alpha away or sumn. Also we haven't really had any alpha character focused stories yet so it would be nice for the new story to be about an alpha.
ok but can we talk about how the two female characters that the author picked are pretty much female representations of wolfgang and shin?? like light haired, cheerful and straightforward girl in gold is wolfgang and dark blue haired, intelligent girl in blue is shin (they also have the same eyes). there's even a scene where dark haired girl is trying to find a solution for them to be together without being in a relationship, which, isn't that sort of what shin is doing rn? tbh i was worried that gay marriages wouldn't be possible in a historical themed manga but this is giving me hope that wolfgang and shin will someday (TдT)
A lot of people are commenting about how Taehan seems like he's not interested in commitment and whatnot but isn't Doyun the one who's not taking things seriously? I feel like he hasn't really processed the fact that he's an omega (albeit not like normal omegas) and that he doesn't really understand the consequences.
This has nothing to do with him working in a place full of alphas but for example, all the times he had consensual sex with Taehan he never brought up contraception (it's also partly Taehan's fault) which is a problem because they're young and not thinking about pregnancy. When Doyun brought up the knotting, Taehan was the one who took initiative to bring them to the hospital and Doyun didn't even know that knotting increased chances of pregnancy while Taehan did. Then afterwards he's joking about marriage but Taehan looks like he's seriously thinking about it.
I don't think Doyun is immature and I don't think he's acting this way on purpose to avoid serious topics. I think his casual way of talking and joking around is his way of dealing with situations and Taehan doesn't know how to respond cause he's the opposite (hence the silence at the end). However, this is like a wake up call for them and I highly doubt they'll fall out of love but I do hope that they can meet at the same level to talk things over regarding the future of their relationship.
I honestly would not mind Wolfgang having a queen, HOWEVER, from what we've seen in the past 2 seasons, the story is a lot about differentiating Wolfgang's reign from previous reigns or even leaders from other areas and highlighting the ways in which Wolfgang and Shin are improving the country (while facing difficulties in their relationship). Other than his golden hair and eyes, Wolfgang is altruistic, treats all his staff well, open minded, asks for equality when choosing knights, etc. For the story to continue with this theme, it would make significantly more sense for Wolfgang and Shin to end up together and find another person to rule (whether it's now or when they're old) such as Gareth or someone who may not have golden hair and eyes.
The next ruler could definitely have golden hair and eyes, and I totally wouldn't mind that either. I said "may not" cause whether the next ruler has those features or not, I'd rather it be because they are genuinely suited to become the next leader and not because they have golden hair and eyes. The magic is useful and looks cool, but it isn't necessary to rule a kingdom. I mean, Wolfgang can only use it a limited amount of times and so far I think he's doing a pretty good job without being reliant on magic. Choosing to have a child would also go against what the story is about because a lot of this story is about Wolfgang breaking old traditions and opening doors to lost ones. We know that the tradition of having your biological heir take the throne has not always worked out. Wolfgang may be good but his dad was terrible. Whose to say Wolfgang's kid will be a good king, or his kid's kid and so forth. What you say may be true, but I think it'd be nice to see Wolfgang and Shin break this cycle.
idk if smth is actually wrong with lihuan but it's pretty common in east asian countries to go to the hospital when you have cold or fever. also, they're just giving him iv drips which can help with dehydration from sickness or exhaustion, it's not like he's doing a ct scan or doing chemo treatments or smth
warning: some spoilers ahead
not going to spoil too much but oh man yall are not gonna believe who her "cool" ceo is lmao. im just gonna say it's a girl so
also nothing happens with the red hair guy for the next 4 chapters which is as far as the raws go right now. so idk if the author is just really building up his character or if we're being played and he's just a really nice guy lmao

azusa has gone through so much shit in this story that i forget he used to be in the same position as karino in the caste system
