friendships come and go. You can either talk to her about it, or slowly become distant until the friendship has disappeared. It's up to you, but reading what you wrote, at this point, you're the only one putting effort into the friendship and she's just trying to go through the motions and "maintain" your relationship. iirc i think it was implied that edgar is like the shadow/black/dark magic whatever user. i honestly cant remember exactly what wording they used but it was the only type of magic that wasnt represented in the original game, but it was heavily implied that edgar was a black magic(?) user.
