Yeah no the infantilization is extremely exhausting

Sorry but why infantilization? Cuz i searched up the meaning of it. And then i looked back at wooyoung's trait and the only traits that ive seen that would give off child vibes is that he's drawn as twink, is spoiled by everyone, and cried a lot. Infantilization sounds extreme to me, that's probably not what the creator intended to be. The only controlling person in his life is his dad, and i get why he's like that, he's old and traditional and his wife is dead. Kyungju took care of him most of the time but he didnt take away Wooyoung's agency. Wooyoung is smart in his own way, i love that part where he said to kyungju to choose him instead of the baby if ever the doctor made kyungju choose. Someone who is infantilized will not bravely choose or will not be able to choose to go on with a dangerous pregnancy, took a lot of fvcking courage AND BODY AGENCY. Someone who is infantilized will not be able to grow up confident. Yes wooyoung acts spoiled around people he feels safe with specially kyungju. But he's ready to punch any alpha who offends him. The only really possible way i could think of why u said infantilized is becuz of the chibis, his appearance, body, and him always crying a lot and needing to be taken care of by his husband which he has right to be lol. I dont think that's infantilization tho, it's just the way his character is made by the author, i dont think that author has any intention for it to appear as that. Maybe wooyoung is just not ur cup of tea
He has a strong tendency to make dumb decisions but he's not a child. Dude manage to study abroad alone, yes he has everything he needs but he's alone most of the time. Even at that time that he hasnt met kyungju yet he was able to make decisions for himself and what he feels like is best for him. The reason he decides to "snag" kyungju, a dominant alpha is entirely becuz of his own health anyway. He knows he needs a dom alpha.

tbh get a feeling the author intended to write a better story but it fell apart after the hiatus.
And continuing or ending a series is sometimes not a decision the author alone can make. The trashy publishers push the authors to milk popular stories and meet chapter quotas.
So blaming the author alone while multiple factors are playing seems unfair.
