I feel like we completely forgot about the original FL? I get so uninterested when the main focus is magic and romance i need her to get back to revenge
Even in the novel her role is not that big. I thought something similar when reading like “why is she even in the story if she’s missing for most of the story” Thing is the villain of the story hasn’t even been introduced yet. You might find this one boring since it is mostly about the romance between Deborah and Isidor even when the villains show up they are kinda (in my opinion) dealt with easily.
