It's phenomenal! The art style is stunning coupled with the filthy vigorous smut, still leaving space for the immersive plotline. I especially love how well the enemies to lovers trope is portrayed.

I haven't read the novel myself, but ppl say the manhwa doesn't capture the novel's charm with its intricate details, so you could also give the novel a go.

It's hard saying much without spoiling anything, you just have to see it for yourself. Trust, it's worth it, esp if you like fics like Reverse Thinking.

Its best to view it as arcs tbh. First arc follows mc Garam through hardship with staying true to his music, and keeping his "sound" (essentially a metaphor for his true self or soul). Garam is challenged through relationships with family, peers, and especially his teacher who he must hate no matter what.

2nd arc follows his rls with said teacher and him progressing with his music, seeing who his teacher really is, and features a very morally gray romance and relationship. Old guy isn't the bottom but tbh if you care that much about sex positions don't read.

Side note: The work references a lot of art and music references that help us better understand the dynamics between the 2 main characters and also the people around them, even the name is a reference.

Long story short, Heejae is a maestro whose mission is to find a “gem” (hence why he became a professor). He is captivated by Garam’s sound after listening to his Jeux D’Eau and becomes his teacher. Things go down at the university and they relocate to America, where their relationship shifts as they form an incredibly deep relationship. It’s a rlly interesting story, especially if you like art. The use of symbolism and imagery is what makes this story stand out amongst today’s BLs. This has become favorite romance I have ever read . Although the old guy is the strictly a top, please don’t stop top and bottom dynamics to stop you from reading his masterpiece!
