╥﹏╥ so I don't comment often but I thought I would share my two cents on the ending in hopes that maybe someone will read and not be so dissatisfied (which I can understand honestly)! So spoilers ahead!
I reread the entire story once again and I think Kyung-soo realized and gave in to the fact that, because he hurt Dong-hyuk who only ever treated him with kindness (minus the ending), he would never be happy. He thinks that he brings out anger in the people he is with, which is why bad things happen to him or Dong-hyuk. He knew he couldn't be with Dong-hyuk because of this so he let the poor kid go to be happy without him. He realized that a part of him did care about Yule, probably because he was his first and I'm assuming a lot happened between them that formed a greater bond than what we were shown (before the whole gangrape). He knew that in some sick, twisted way Yule was drawn to him still and wanted him (Yules form of love I suppose). So Kyung-soo, knowing he would never be happy and knowing he would make Yule unhappy as well by being with him (hence the flashback of him saying that in the car in the last chapter), he sort of sacrificed himself to Yule at the end. Essentially, he knows he will be miserable with Yule and will make Yule miserable back by never actually loving him (which is the one thing Yule has figured out he wanted). He knows he can't get away from Yule so.... misery loves company right?
Don't get me wrong, Kyung-soo deserves better, and Yule is a piece of shiot but Kyung-soo definitely seems like the type to sacrifice himself to the beast in order to keep him controlled in a sense. If you noticed, Yule did start to listen to some of Kyung-soo's pleas near the end as Yule started realizing he actually loved him. Maybe Yule will treat him a bit nicer now, who knows. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Yule seemed a bit more shy/ashamed at the end there. Still doesn't mean he should be forgiven though.
