A lot of comments are talking about how ml just wanted their friendship to stay the same, and I sort of understand him but he was being completely selfish. He was only thinking about his feelings. He was so possessive over mc and would show up whenever he would hang out with another friend just to make sure mc was only paying attention to him. And whenever mc would try to slightly distance himself from him in order to control his feelings he would go batshit.
