RAINBOW

If anyone is curious, there is a short continuation of their story in chapter 6.5 of Muka Tsuku Douryou to Sefure ni Narimashita.

It's about a high school drop out who now works at a convenience store. The reason why he dropped out was because is a closeted gay boy that had a crush on one of his friends. Lets call this friend Jerry (I don't remember names sadly). Jerry and a few other of MC's "friends" suspect that MC is gay for Jerry so they had Jerry write a fake confession to MC and have him meet up with him behind the school (or somewhere else, can't remember) if he reciprocates his feelings. MC falls for it and goes. He then sees all of his "friends" and promptly gets laughed at and hated on. I think they also outed MC to the school. MC was so traumatized that he dropped out. He now works at a convenience store and develops a crush on a co-worker there. He is cutely so obvious with his crush. They became friends and adopt a cat together. MC runs into his asshole former friends who act like everything was ok and act like everything they did to him was ok and that there was no need to apologize. Jerry then pulls the same shit he did in highschool except this time he writes a fake confession as the convenience store co-worker. MC falls for it again. Jerry then warns the store co-worker that the MC is gay and that he could perve on him too. Jokes on all of them. Store co worker doesn't mind and accepts MC's feelings.
