The story is imagination, so why be racist?
If someone show BL, then don't know from where people come and preach about God,homophobia, racisism and what not. But if it's a straight story then everything is fine, be it noncon , porn, cheating and whatnot.
And I don't find this story so cliche till now. I mean yes at that historical point, there was slavery, certain people were treated as nobility where others were treated very poorly. There was racism due to skin colors. But it is shown here as hint not as explicitly. Rather the MC is kindhearted and gave freedom and gave money to go back and settle down in their families. He treated them as one would treat their employees when they close their business.
in a climate where most (if not all) manhwa portrayals are lightskin and they have all types of representation (whether they are the 'cute bottom', 'bad boy' and such), black people are often used as scapegoats in media and representation is shown in a shockingly sad or violent light. black people deserve to be humanised. jaxx would've been better off adding some black characters to add versatility and relevance to the plot because it's not fun having representation for your race just to be disregarded, yknow.
I liked their fluffy romantic moments much.
That shitface brother of the uke ruined everything.
I mean, misunderstanding, jealousy moments are ok but hating yourself, getting mental trauma due to continuous several beating from family then having behavioral disorder is a very serious issue, my heart can't take. ╥﹏╥
Seriously it's beyond my understanding, why author tried to push this family sentiment if it was shown that the kids were attracted to each other from childhood. Also if the ML dude was chill about relationship with MC even before their parents remarriage thenwhy sudden change of heart afterward and decide to run. I mean dude can't you think what will happen to MC after you leave, such carelessness. Also it felt too demanding and a forceful plot to me where that mother is remarriaging and takes her son for granted. Like giving the news without heads up and then asking face to face almost feels like pressuring to answer in positive response from your son. I mean they are in high school, how so you expect them to answer and tell what they really want.
Now I am seriously confused. ╥﹏╥
At some chapters they are saying "Dane is recessive omega, can control his pheromones, and hide it to disguise as Beta. Therefore Grayson goes into blacking out smelling it. He knows better as his mother Koi is recessive omega too"
In latest chapters they are saying and hinting Dane as "dominant omega"

( ̄∇ ̄") everyone is like if there's a club named "teach a lesson to Greyson Miller", count me in.
There is the "The Grayson Miller Victim Association" in the story.lol
Well, we'll see how it goes. My experience when I read the novel was, that most who wanted to see him suffer, at some point started to suffer along with him.lol
But who knows with the manhwa adaption. They leave out too much.
