I hate when authors do this lol… im 100% okay with feminine dressing men but its obvious that yaoi authors make the uke dress as a woman to cater to heterosexuality. I also see it happen during sex scenes when the butthole bleeds which is to be similar to a womans hymen breaking. I hate when authors try to cater to heterosexuality in a gay or lesbian story
??? The top lives 99% of his life attracted to femininity, what kinda guy wouldn’t get off to his boyish uke dressing as a girl. Also the butthole bleeding is common amongst gay men it’s used to emphasize the top being too rough and the bottom not really liking it. I wouldn’t expect somebody like you with fujo brain to understand
By drawing the uke dressed as a woman who has never been shown to be feminine whilst the top was straight before meeting the uke it enforces the idea that the top doesnt exactly find the uke attractive unless presented in a way like a woman. It is a harmful stereotype in man/hua/ga/hwa that again reinforces the idea that a uke cant be sexually / physically attractive unless protrayed like a woman. Also the rectum bleeding is also a harmful trope, as although yes it will bleed if rough but in many stories it bleeds when gentle to mimic the breakage of a womans hymen , and when this trope is used its mostly from authors who have only drawn straight relationships and only drew gay relationships for a cash grab.

Why are authors so against saying their character is Bi MC is obviously not 100% hetero so idk why bro felt the need to say “sorry to say but hes 100% hetero” like sure he has only dated women but he very obviously has feelings for ian/ is developing feelings for ian.. idk if the translation was off and they meant he only ever believed he was hetero but idk its just odd like if u like the same gender ur obv not 100% hetero
You could see it in older media, when gender expression wasn't really a thing unless you were clearly feminine/masculine. They were mostly thinking in binary with sexuality and gender, so everything in between was "fake". The spectrum is only recently represented and in LGBT community you can still hear that bi people doesn't exist, they are just whores or that they will definitely cheat on their partner. Biphobia is more common than you could think, and not only from cishet, but also within queer people.
