The one who appears before a girl who has lost her memory is? After losing her parents in an accident and becoming caught in the same accident herself, the young girl Kuchinashi loses all her memories. Taken in by her aristocratic uncle, she endures daily bullying from her cousin, Marika, while living under his roof.
One day, a grand ball is held to celebrate Marika’s twentieth birthday. A portrait of Marika, painted by the rising young artist Kōzuki, is set to be unveiled. However, when the covering cloth is removed, the face revealed on the canvas is not Marika’s, it is Kuchinashi.
As murmurs ripple through the hall, Kōzuki approaches Kuchinashi and tells her “Come back with me as my wife.”

In Japan there is 4 volumes 20 chapters complete of the manga, also has light novels. Seven Seas Entertainment has picked it up for English translation and Vol. 1 is coming out on December 1, 2026. It will be called "Series: I Thought My Childhood Friend Was a Guy… Now She’s My Wife and It’s Going Too Well! (Manga) Vol. 1".
