I feel like his personality and characterization in the beginning of the story don’t fully align with how he behaves toward the end. I understand the argument that he gradually developed feelings for the MC, but I don’t think the story did enough to show how or when that change actually happened. There seems to be a missing transition between his initial characterization and his eventual attachment to the MC. What was the specific trigger that made him start seeing the MC differently?

Especially when you consider how he treated the omegas he was with before. He literally treated them like they were disposable, and there’s that scene where he used someone’s dih as a nail for golfing . He also literally planned to have the MC be and passed around. Those are some EXTREME things to establish about his character

Because of that, his sudden shift toward becoming more caring and emotionally attached to the MC feels disproportionate to what came before. The story moves forward only a few chapters after some of his most extreme actions, and yet his behavior starts changing without enough development to make that transformation feel believable. It almost feels less like the character naturally evolved and more like the author needed him to behave differently for the plot, so his personality changed accordingly.

I also don’t think his trauma completely explains this inconsistency. His experiences with his mother and the accidental deaths of his father and brother certainly provide context for why he became the person he was. There still needs to be a convincing progression showing why his feelings toward the MC developed and why they were strong enough to fundamentally alter the way he treated him.

My issue isn’t that he changed or that he fell in love with the MC. Characters are allowed to grow and change. My problem is that the transition itself feels underdeveloped. The beginning establishes one character, while the later chapters present someone who feels almost completely different, without giving us enough meaningful development in between to connect the two versions. I just think the transition was poorly written. It honestly feels like the original character was replaced by someone who happens to look like him, rather than the story showing us a believable evolution of the same person. That’s all lol

Maybe let it marinate for some time this story is hella slowburn and if you want drama every chapter update, I think it’s best if you drop it unless u wait for it to be completed.
