I read the first chapter but was greatly put off by the lack of backstory, like it just introduces you to some of the main characters without really giving an idea of how they met. Does it explain at some point later on?
Yeah it does. Though i have just finished the chapters here, there is there is a flashback like arc happening.
She must be the daughter of Queen yun then, since the mark on the back matches the mark of that family
Its super good, i love the plot, but the way it ends on a cliff hanger and then takes a month to release another chapter is becoming annoying, it's not like most manga where you can just leave it for a bit and come back to a lot of chapters, it allows the reader to forget about the manga because even though it's really good, it doesn't have the pizzazz that makes it memorable like manga such a solo leveling has.
The story could be interesting, it's just really hard to read due to the translation, it doesn't make sense 95% of the time...
