It does but it doesn't necessarily mean that your related. It is also used when talking to others who are older than them, but seen as a brother figure. It is not always used with blood related family. For example it could be used to refer to the older boy who lives next door.

I get that spoilers can be upsetting but at the same time I don't. What's wrong with it? Spoiling it or not doesn't change the fact that what will happen (when you read it) and what has happened (after you read it). Telling you what happened changes nothing because afterward reading it you still receive the same info. I guess if it was a book in which many events lead up to the ending then yea thats a bit upsetting but with this, its literally ONE chapter in which the previous chapter foreshadowed shit.
