Because you're not supposed to understand everything at the beginning? people are so used to spoiler, has NO patience. Like do you want each character to break the 4th wall and explain every single act? The novel is at 20% Like chill?!

it's the adaptation lacking because they are not the author so they couldn't quite show all details unlike novel. It also depends on a reader's comprehension and how far we are in the story.

and I forgot, since they are connecting stories included in a series, we have no choice but to learn more information as each story releases one by one

That's what I said, without the novel it's personally not my favourite pacing. If you like it you like it, just saying it could be better imo. I personally like the plot and characters, but I just got confused without the additional informations

Mhm I get that, but as someone who is picky with ships.. I would not read the other stories. I think they did amazing as a stand alone, but you can tell it's not a stand alone story which is my own issue (I wanna know more without reading the other comics lol). It's still a great story, just hope it wouldn't get more confusing for me

Most of those who explain are novel readers, which already fully completed this novel and apply all the info we know from the full story for the character analysis. I dont think this story is suppose to feed you all of them in the beginning since neither the main characters know enough about the other to even think of a rationale by themselves. Dane is a weird aggresive jerk to Grayson and Grayson is a schemy nepo baby to Dane. We will need to wait for their relationship to progress beyond this prejudice stage to understand and even let the other knows about their hidden past. I would suggest you to give the story about 15-20 chaps more, which will reach 50% of the novel and where their relationship actually starts (not love), if you still find the narrative lacking by then you can skip the rest of the story without much concern about missing anything.

Yea thank you, I know the period where a story is withholding information exist. It's often not in your face as much, but this just gives me question after questions which I personally don't like. Hopefully all will be answered, just hope it's not a big information dump rather than a slower paced explanation

No worries, this story is particularly slow burn and information about both worldview and the 2 leads are shared bits by bits as the story go, which may make you feel frustrated now but will be rewarding by the end. And there are also comment section like this for you to check any info you want clarification asap. It was way worse during the novel release time since everyone was assuming this will be a super toxic story and on their edge waiting for some dark climax stuff to happens lol.

It depends on what you mean. The manhwa skipped things. The manhwa is chapter 21, in the novel it would be around chapter 60. And some things will come up later.

I mean. The only reason I haven't dropped this is because of all the other characters. Haruki is so ass and his character is so unbelievable and unrealistic

Tbf lets not blame him 100%.. he is literally a victim of multiple harassmentd and assaults. A strong willed person will shut it down fast, but it's still hard for him for understandable reasonings

To be clear, I'm not mad at him. Rather I'm mad at how the story is potraying him? Like it seem unrealistic that he suddenly got the power of friendship midway while blushing in front of his sister for so long.. It seem weird that's it. I like a pure character but I do hope he grows strong to protect himself first

But.. he just did. Although it's little, that's why I praise his efforts. Just weird that the author linger on it too long, even for the plot. Idk we would have to see the new chapters to see if this growth gonna stay
