Lets hope the artist and the manhwa writer does not make it too detailed. Eventho, their first life is depressing, it show the reasons for what Ido does in the second life for Sejin to rediscover his happiness. Yes it too late for Ido to amend their relationship in the first life, yet the impact of the loss of Sejin is big that it effect Ido to change the ways he treats Sejin. He even remember Sejin ring size, his outfit measurement, his fav food and the day Sehin could be in heat.
Spoiler for future update. After Ido's Grandfather memorial Ido went to rut because he forget to use his inhibitor but before he did anything to Sejin he took sleeping pills and the inhibitor. This is because he does not want to inflict the same pain Sejin felt in the first life.
