This feels like a joke even as an "if" route.
So in the original world she doesn't choose either of them? I'd have liked it more if she kept it family focused and made side chapters about lily/felix and athy/claude daily lives or cute moments. What a disappointment for both Lucathy and Izekiel-athy fans. The novel did a way better job with "if" stories, the artist should have used some ideas from there
So happy we get to see his side of the story finally. This whole time he was portrayed as this obsessed and abusive brother who's in love with his adopted sister, but we never got to know why or what he went through and how he thinks. Man he's such a cool character
I do feel bad for him n how twisted he turned out to b but in his journey to protect her he fell for her became obsessive and in the end ended up hurting her and turning into an abuser just like his father so he is not justified his starting desire was good but his desire to posses her and twisted love for her just made him a hateful person I feel bad for him being abused and brainwashed but tht doesnt justify hurting others he need help just like she needs help
Yeah I'm not saying it justified his actions, it only explains them. I love how twisted he is because of his past. In the beginning I didn't know much about him, but every chapter he appears in was interesting so I get excited but didn't really care if he lives or dies cause I didn't understand his point of view or thinking. He was a cool character to have around tho so I hoped he causes more drama. Man if only this was an otome game...he'd be my favourite
Abuser? So?? Idk how taht has anything to do whith liking a character. He doesn't have to be Eren or aot level of complicated to be seen as such. He yearned for belonging and acceptence, Ruby gave him that yet the cosntant threatening from his "father" to either throw him or her out if they become useless tools to him greatlyaffected him, which made him in return become abusive himself towards ruby, thinking it's the best solution for both of them but it was just him being selfish and wanting her in his life, no matter what. He loved her but couldn't have her, nor did he have the right to try and win her over being her "brother", all which made him jealous and hateful towards any man trying to marry her, so making her submit to him and follow his orders was the only way for him to keep her near. It's shitty, it's selfish, it's evil and it's sad. But he's not right in the head either so he didn't care he believed, no he made himself believe that she will return no matter what, so when she started slipping away, he started panicking. It's not the most complicated thing sure but I love how sad it is on his part and I find him interesting
Seju sees his dead sister in Sejin and therefore wants to help him and protects him to also somehow make up for his absence in the past, and Sejin sees him as caretaker/father/older brother figure cause he needs someone like that in his life. Their relationship is so sweet but knowing this is a bl ruins it so bad i can understand Sejin developing feelings for Seju cause he’s a teenager, young people’s feelings are a mess, and he’s starting to look up to him gradually, but Seju seeing him like that too is??? Man why we can’t have good things here. This could’ve have been a wholesome found family story but nope.

What made me start this webtoon is because I thought she'll be raising him and they'll work together or at least he won't grow so much (just enough for romance to happen ig) but now it's just your typical shoujo romance ml
truee!! im always down for a found family trope so imagine my disappointment when he suddenly grew in size.... i already knew where this shit was going :
