oh i can help with your confusion! there’s a moment where they “break” things off because Lyle feels like Ash doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. Ash never left him for another person but in the side stories his ex shows up but thats all there is to it, they communicated and dealt with the problem at hand

It might have a chasing arc. I think uke might end up leaving or going back to his family for a certain time . That's just my assumption though so I don't really know what might happen but it's common for that to happen in such bls
