Hi I don’t know if I can post this here and this is like my second time posting
Guys can we discuss about Illip Art High that manhwa is so cool I want more but I have to wait and I can’t find any good edits of them on TikTok
When I first read it, it’s so good bc I sense doom yuri from a mile away but then the art style was a bit strange to me I thought the the author was using AI idk even tho they touched onto the topic of AI and art a lot then I marinated it for a long time. Today I came back to them and binge read it. THE PAIN IS SO AWFUL YET SO GOOD I love angst I could die for good doomed angst
But I wanna hear about everyone thoughts on that. I really do feel the need to write an essay about them even tho I barely have time for studying
Oh i love this manhwa too. I sometimes find myself envious of their story, simply because they have things they love and want to pursue. The way their friendship and each character are portrayed is truly complex, too. Most importantly, I love how the author incorporates paintings that look so real—as if they were created with real paint—even though this is a digitally drawn webtoon.
While others were making a fuss over things like philosophy and the complicated aspects of AI, I found the protagonist's simple—yet often overlooked—answer regarding that self-portrait to be the truly brilliant part.
Talking about this manhwa with you makes me want to pick it up again. I’d love to exchange thoughts with you about it once I’ve continued reading.
Whenever a character is just simply a teenager slowly growing up while being kind, a part of me feel die (in a good way)
Like for Sol, she’s going through life as well. Moving from a rural area to big city alone is tough. I have personally experienced that. And then u live poorly in a small guest room. and u have constant pressure from ur parents and stress about financial situation. YET, regardless of these, she still find good in people and be kind to them. Not once does she ever harbor jealous or bad intentions to any of her friends who are obviously very different from her, even if she find such bad feelings coming up, she still chooses to keep the love in her growing.
That’s why I love her. But as story goes on, her kindness and love is the reason she got hurt but I am sure she’ll overcome that too.
so peaceful
