The best part of this manhwa is the fact that normally we hear MC's monologue. But instead we read this from ML's POV which makes it funny. Because if we didn't have his POV, he will turn out to be an asshole. But because we see that clearly he has a lot of feelings about it but aren't quite sure how to express it properly readers can't stay mad at him
It's just to officially say they're related. At least legally. So like Yeomin will take his surname and Yeomin will not have anything to do with his father anymore. People can't come to Yeomin and claimed that Yeomin is responsible because of family relationship he had with his father. His father also cannot use that reason to tie him to anything because they're strangers - legally. If Yeomin and Mr Yeon are family, it will be easier for him to make sure Yeomin within his radar because officially he will be his legal guardian and point of contact whenever and whereever something happened to Yeomin.

Yes lol. That's why I said he's so dense. Since we're reading both POVs I know for a fact Yeomin doesn't have the heart to be mad at Mr Yeon for a long time with whatever he did. And Mr Yeon would be defeated with whatever Yeomin requested from him. They're both are just soooo into each other but both are so dense too at the same time. It's too funny
