Tonari Ni Sunderu Neko No Koto
Twinkle
Short and sweet. Perfection.
Mede Shireru Yoru No Junjou
Hundreds of pages in and these two "courtesans" have had zero steamy scenes together, or with anyone else for some bizarre reason. The first time they slept together was actually RAPE. The seme does not apologize. Not pleasant at all.
The art is pretty. The story is convoluted and drawn out. The uke is obnoxious and will not admit he likes the seme for no apparent reason. I guess to keep the drama and pseudo belligerent sexual tension going. I should add that the second time they are together is also rape, mixed with torture. Not my cup of tea. Oh and the seme cut his hair, so no consensual pretty boy scenes will be happening. Sorry to say.
Overall, it's a good attempt that fell very flat. I want the last two hours of my life back.
Soshite Koi Ga Hajimaru
Total waste of time. It's like someone cut a manga in half and just posted half a story. Nothing happens. The guys don't fall in love or get together or anything.Bizarre.
Kokoro (kanda neko)
Not sure why this is rated so highly. The characters were pretty one dimensional and the story lacked any real conflict. You have love at first sight with a seme who's ridiculously loyal and perfect right off the bat. Then you have the shy, inexperienced uke who provides the closest thing to conflict in the form of simply failing to believe his lover is as good as he really is. (For example at one point perfect seme goes on a business trip, reminding uke to call him any time. Uke can't believe he can call such a cool guy and so sits around lonely for days. Very droll.) There are also many parts that skip ahead too quickly and cause confusion. Then again it's not a very deep story, so that shouldn't last long. Homophobes don't exist in this world and neither do parents so it's a gay utopia. The final chapters are comprised of one shots, which is what the main story should've been, imo. There's just not enough substance to justify how long it drags on.
Whoever tagged this as drama lied.
Saihate no Kimi e
Rape, rape and more rape. I've read hundreds of manga. None as stomach turning as this one.
I'm fine with master and pet stuff, etc but this is just gross. The fact that he's rich doesn't excuse the abuse, torture, and treating an innocent guy who loved and trusted him like an object.
I'm astounded that anyone enjoyed this. If the uke were a girl these readers would be outraged but apparently they think it's fine to rape and torture someone until they pass out from illness and exhaustion multiple times, not to mention try to kill themselves, as long as they're a guy and you're filthy rich. SMH.
