I feel like the plot has been lost. When I first started this series years ago (when there was only about 10 episodes out) the synopsis was different. It was originally supposed to be about Jian Yi disappearing, coming back & everything was supposed to be a flashback to lead up to what happened. But I feel like the flashbacks suddenly ended & we jumped to the present, I don’t remember anything being fully explained.
Same with He Tian. I know it’s implied he left for some time to o & came back, but nothing was explained. I get that it’s always been a comedy series, but I feel like there used to be much more of a coherent story.
Don’t get me wrong, I still adore this manhua & I will continue to read it. But I’m becoming increasingly confused with every new chapter. It feels almost like everything’s being updated out of order though I know that’s not the case.
I just wish the author actually gave us some explanations rather than silly one shot fillers almost every chapter. I don’t know though, I could just be the only one thinking this & complaining for no reason lol
