it's different when the toxicity comes from kidnapping, manipulation, etc. i can't really explain it well but when there's manipulation and other dark tropes, it's better rather than just the top being mad at everything. not even a manipulation talk, yet kim dan was just... fell in love with him easily. now that jaekyung got redemption arc, it's satisfying to see him going all through that.
