I'm here just to give you a high five for the courage.
Out of all the non normative fiction genres, Shotacon must be the one that gets the most trashing and it's not easy to find people who admit to read or to be okay with. Clearly it's a niche that has readers so I can only assume that it's the shaming that keep the readers quiet.

Can't tell anyone what to avoid since tastes are so personal but if I could go back and tell myself what to avoid:
- A Man Like You ( or something like that). Most mediocre story ever with the highest rating here. A mess of a plot and I despise stories where a 3rd character is introduced and given more time than the MCs.

I like so many but there is something else about Yashiro from Saezuru.
It's not only about how gorgeous he looks. He is just sexy even when doing nothing but breathing . No wonder Doumeki fell in love at first sight. :)
