Interesting ain't it? I read multiple stories (tho I forgot about which ones) where the adaptation is different from the novel. Like- they r still following the flow of the story but how the artist interpret the characters of the writer has a potential to be differ.
Even just minor facial expressions or movements or reactions can cause some difference between the two.
Same with translations. I read this one BL where the Fan translation have the boys talk like GenZs, very casual and has more funny jokes. But then when the official translation came out, they r more formal and more mature lolol. It's really crazy...
