I get how people are against the age gap, but in my opinion- first of all it’s a fictional story and everything has been consensual. Secondly, when I’m reading a story, I tend to focus on the plot rather than age gap and I love this story. Then again that’s just me!! Lastly, if you read the first chapters properly and some flashbacks of their inner thoughts, the age gap makes sense for the plot.

I agree that they could’ve probably make Kou a college student to make it less weird. Tbh I’m like it’s a completed story, it’s not like us complaining will change the plot or age gap. For some reason age gap like this is normal in bl stories. And when I’m reading unless their ages are mentioned I don’t focus on that part much.
It was never occurred to me the age gap, since I'm focusing to much on the plot, and as long as I know how to differentiate fiction and reality. It was not like I will also do it in real life if I read this.
