I've always found the whole shipping thing weird, it's like having groups of people ship yourself and one of our closest friends. We sometimes forget that these idols people look up to so much actually feel emotions including feelings of disgust and being uncomfortable reply
Personally this hasn't really happened to me, but in that kinda situation I would probably just keep pushing on till they do listen, cause at some point in the convo they'll eventually have to listen to what I have to say if they want the argument to stop 1 reply
