So glad things are finally moving along after four years and even after dealing with broken translations and a confusing af plot. I held on because I'm a sucker for horror and the art is indeed chilling af.
But after these recent chapters I think I get whats going on now.
Servant and Master were supposed to be reunited but the Practitioner either purposely/accidently botched the ritual which made their souls unable to return to their bodies and even with their reincarnations within reach, this curse is still making them unable to fully obtain their physical forms and driven them to madness. Once any party is engaged in any bonding with one another, intimate or not, it causes a chain reaction that is starting to bring everything into light.
And now that the Yitae and Giyoon have had sex, the curse is either weakening or fighting to contain the cursed individuals.
I could be overreaching but thats what I got so far and throught I'd share for anyone who is still just as confused.
