IDK, you'd think afyer dying 3 times, you'd be more mentally fucked, so I'm having a hard time getting into the story... The art in this is great though.
omg i thought the complete opposite! she already lived for ~80 years, so i kinda expected her to be more mature/calm about stuff. idk how older people around u usually behave, but i feel like the older u get, the more wisdom and emotional maturity u gain from life experiences (yeah she was traumatised but obviously she learned from her past “mistakes” she already attempted killing him a few times before this life and always failed). obviously age doesn’t automatically make someone wise, but after living that long i’d expect someone to have a different perspective on things
Yeah I understand what you mean and I think I phrased it incorrectly. I'd have thought after killing herself 3 times, seeing her mother die and never being free in any of her lives, she would either be unhinged or a bit emotionless. As in, she'd wonder what's the point in anything seeing as the crown prince always had prevailed and she always died miserably. And also, I find it odd she tried surviving by conspiring with him in the third life. I couldn't imagine not wanting to kill someone after they hurt my mother (and she definitely seemed close with her mother). But I see your point, and I'm probably judging too early, seeing as there aren't that many chapters... (also sidenote, what does she even live for? Like I feel many people struggle to find meaning in life and could not be arsed struggling 3 times. Also where does the thought come that if she fails again, she won't come back. I don't understand the character)
She only revives if she's killed by the silver dagger (it's ambiguous if she has to wield it herself or if it just depends on the object itself); if she fails yet again, she's just gonna look for death WITHOUT the silver dagger, banking on the hope that she won't return without this artifact.
Dealing with reoccuring things even if you rewind time means you can start to differentiate between twigs (changeable outcome) and branches (like this one guy being a spy no matter what happens).
As far as conspiring goes - it's like when you tried push and pull and next you're ready to lift from the bottom. Or bite.
oooh i understand. i think she conspired with him because she was desperate tbh. when you’re in pain or constantly stressed/depressed, your judgment gets completely distorted and you end up making terrible decisions. then once you calm down and rationality comes back, you’re just there thinking “wtf was i doing???” and as readers we might see her choices as stupid, but honestly considering everything she was going through, i probably would’ve done the same. you never really know how things will turn out unless you take the risk, and from her perspective maybe it genuinely seemed like her only chance for things to get better haha (obviously it failed or there wouldn’t be a story)
Damn... That poor horse
