seme is better than me lmao i would've just told my bf that his friend openely said he was going to confess JUST AFTER i told him we were dating. i guess he didn't want to ruin his reunion and tattle on. cause who knows maybe sae wouldn't have believed him. it's not an easy position to be in (still he could've handled it better than yell at sae). but yeah what the friend did is so disrespectful, i would've fought him
i really do like this miscommunication arc so far.
i think MC's way of thinking is pretty good. he's aware of his own flaws and capable of critically think back on why he acted a certain way. it's what ML is lacking which is why he can't figure out WHY he wants MC with him. so it's a good thing imo that MC told him to
figure out what he wants their relationship to be.
BUT i think it's really interesting how MC puts all the ''work'' on ML, it's a very humane reaction. obviously ML is emotionnaly immature and has a twisted view of relationships, which MC seems to know. it's easy being the one pulling away after years of entertaining ML's ''friendship'', and enabling his behaviours because he wanted to stay close to him. not saying MC is the one in the wrong, just that this ultimatum is kinda the easy way out instead of really talking it out. but also ML probably wouldn't listen/understand.
us readers are frustrated cause this is messed up but with how they are and their shared past, what wouldv'e actually worked? very interesting
is this the classical plot where two siblings took different paths after the loss of their brother, and the sister joined the bad guys? is she Irina?
saw a spoiler that Sergei was actually the little bro, so did she know that and still trained him to become a weapon? that's interesting
but tbh, if this arc is all about how family doesn't have to be blood related, then it kinda defeats the point to have Jin and Sergei secretly be blood brothers.. let's see how the revelation unflods!
the whole magic/sorcery thing is really interesting. also MC's personality is surprising as you can see he was always kinda heartless? he doesn't want revenge, doesn't really care about being alone and only value people if they fit into his criterias. it's pretty cool, he's not just some goodhearted op MC.
SPOILERS
i just don't get why they won't tell him 2000years have gone by. sure maybe Sophia wasn't sure how to proceed at first and waited for her boss opinion but for everyone to be in on it?? and what's the reason anyway? to not make him sad or because they don't trust he wouldn't got on a rampage if he knew? but he'll figure it out at some point and it'll be worse because now people around him lied to him. that's just a dumb plot devise to create tension at the start of the story. it'd be cool if he just went ''oh well idc'' which would reinforce his cold personnality i guess but it wouldn't change the fact that the others were stupid for hiding it
istg if jaekyung goes all cliché ml after dan wakes up
1. being like ''i can't be with him, he'll be in danger because of me''
2.acting horrible to push dan away WITHOUT telling him why he wants him to
3. creating yet another misunderstanding and separation arc
4.having to wait 15chapters for them to be like ''dan may be stabed cause of me but it's okay cause we love each other''
i'll drop this shit.

this may be an unpopular opinion but i have these kind flashbacks so much omg.. we already knew MC looked like a guy who knew the other two and one of them now calls the other ''murderer''. that's a mystery!! that s fun!! gimme a flashback that is one or two enigmatic pannels that leeds to interesting conversations between characters in the present please. i want to see MC confront ML's past with him, and not like 3 chapters of extremely developped flashbacks. idc!! it's in the past, tell me how it's affecting the present with a little mistery so that we as reader can start to understand unexplained behaviors with the MC
