I genuinely dont get why people are hating the backstories a lot, because it is so refreshing to see an author put effort into telling the story on how the two people evolved and got to where they are now. A series of hardships and understandings that these two went through made me understand why Sol wishes for Ian to get his memories back (hopefully he still loves Ian as Ian ofc). Many would have complained if the backstory was rushed and now many complain because it’s too dragging. In my opinion, if you really despise the backstory, just don’t read it and come back when it’s over(/nm/gen) It’s kinda sad and tiring to see negative comments on it
