I understood this chapter as taejun at first suspecting that geonwu had feelings for him, but after seeing geonwu make 0 moves on him even though he was dating a lot during hs he stopped suspecting geonwu of crushing on him. I'm not saying hes not trashy, but he's not as bad as the comments make him out to be. taejun clearly has feelings for geonwu as well, he's just a dense idiot and hasn't realized it yet
And honestly, noone can know for sure if someone likes you if they don't show it. Taejun didn't know for sure, so what could he even do.
And people are allowed to have different expectations of different relationships. Taejun wanted a friend only. He's not an asshole for that
Yeah he's always used to people chasing him so he thought if Geonwoo liked him he would chase him too like the others. He's not used to doing the chasing so doesn't realize that he too has feelings for Geonwoo.
