At this point, it’s not even about the plot anymore; it’s just being unnecessarily cruel to the characters and triggering the entire fanbase for no reason. This isn't "edgy" writing—it’s pure self-sabotage by the author-nim.
Apparently originally it was supposed to be 45 chapters so it got cut off which is why we have this slop. I enjoyed it too and seeing apparently there's a rape scene is out of character for the ML. Companies have creative restrictions on many authors.
I went and read the raws and authors note and the story basically got axed. 15 chapters got cut and they had to wind up their planned story in like 5, so we got this instead
