Is it the whole “this isn’t a real world” bs she keeps going on and on about or the “even though he’s clearly showing interest there no way he’s interested in me since this is a fake world” being said over and over again? Like honey I get you still think this is a book but to take his feelings so lightly while acting like you’re living for him is kind of killing the mood. I don’t hate her per se but I wish she would get off that bs thinking he’s not in love with her or that it’s just a story, even a blind man can see the love in his eyes. At some point she has to get with reality.

i agree with bella, thats. quite a good point. it could be from the low gravity area since she was exposed in her earlier years as a child then suddenly brought back to earth. I think her body is trying to regulate with the earth’s atmosphere but ofcourse shes still a kid and her body is very fragile as a child

They are in earth, yes? But we can see they’re inside a ship (?) and its conditions are somewhat different from Earth I believe to accommodate the aliens. Because remember in the prev chapter, Lily’s dad would kind of melt due to the difference in gravitational forces. And we dont see that inside their ship so its conditions are indeed different from Earth, explaining Lily’s condition.
