OH THANK GOODNESS! I thought he was going to "tell the truth" and admit that he's dating Mari's boyfriend (which he isn't, obviously). Can you just imagine ending a friendship over a HUGE misunderstanding? Can you imagine the second-hand embarrassment I would have felt if he did come forward? Can you imagine the relief I felt when that whole mess was completely avoided? Phew!
