Pleeease stay slow burn as long as it can. The story is amazing and I want to see the building of their relationship, the mutual trust, the fallling, the yearning...

Chase had a Meredith Grey's second season moment with the 'Pick me. Choose me' there lol

Also, Henry, you deserve better than Mr. Obvious here but I suppose that's the fun of it. Nobody is easy to love or perfect.

And, omg, Pete and his damn plushie hahaha so foreshadowing

    cry July 28, 2026 11:29 am

wait wait wdym by peter and his plushie being a foreshadow?????

It leads, very soon, to a very dramatic moment between Chase and Pete. When they met Pete got lost with his plushie Jason, Pete loves dos, and a dog was about to harm him but Chase saved him. But it's cute and special and actually helped Chase to face his trauma with dogs (a bit).

New chapter is...well... maybe he won't run away anymore but damn his privacy got violated. It seems they are not going for that route.
I feel bad for Geonwu.

And the alpha, better realizes his feelings quickly or if what he is doing is an act to maintain the friendship he better stop and do something because Geonwu is gonna be eaten alive... it's so unfair Geonwu's life gets messy but not Taejun's.

taejun's reaction to geonwu mentioning finding somebody else was interesting.. I'm hoping his realizing that there's (potentially) a rival for geonwu's affection will finally get him to get his ass up and realize his own feelings

    Delorus July 27, 2026 4:48 pm

Yeah, like he's so sure he's the one that Geonwu likes but hearing him say otherwise put him on alert... but now he's gonna know about the pregnancy. I don't expect a bad reaction but Taejun 's probably get a bit defensive because he's gonna take it as another sign that Geonwu doesn't really trust him o something

I wasn't expecting the realistic anatomy. kinda interesting tbh

but yeah, professor's mind is chasing shadows and what he had done to Garam while playing that particular piece, damn... it's a train wreck.

Delorus July 27, 2026 12:20 am

This feels like he's handing the divorce papers the moment they are back home lol like one last good trip

We know professor's doing his... best at what he believes is treating Garam right and making amends because he could not do it with someone who is no longer alive and made so many mistakes with. But Garam's catching up and gets gaslighted...

Professor must be a mess right now. A ticking boom.

I'm actually excited to know how Garam will react when he finds out about the manager, about everything.

Mc reaaaaaaally likes to sabotage himself. Nothing's connecting in that brain of his but he thinks sex will fix everything between.

And it will... Lol

Delorus July 25, 2026 11:22 am

Both switching on the natural charm have other people dead cold from the flirtiness hahaha

I do enjoy the MC approach to romance. He let him know his intentions but he's not pushy. He's very obvious but because there's already a workplace relationship he acts with proper respect, distance and a friendly attitude without flirting unnecessary or being demanding for attention. He's a professional first and while he can feel insecure about his own abilities, those fears come from a place of admiration. Just a very natural thing that some people will enjoy.

For now, the ml love interest is acting casual around him. I wonder about him. He's not so superficial. He creates proper bonds with people around him. He's a nice person that gets along with others. He's receptive but also knows when to be proactive and makes his boundaries clear. It's like he's always in a friendly work mode and avoids being misunderstood.

Memories of the lost ones haunt the living and it's not always a bad thing. It makes us appreciate more what we can lose in an instant and those who make our life a little bit less lonely. Also, professor carries a grief that he hasn't managed it well. That sorrow became anger and reflects the intensity of his feelings, for good and bad. Maybe the same grief is what motivated him and his mission, so he became obsessive with eyes only on what awaits for him at the finish line, something he had lost.
And it's sad that's the way he's coping with his pain.

    Beautifully said!

    GentleBob22 July 25, 2026 5:44 am

You put it in words so well - that grief and loss is what makes me feel sad and sorry for the professor instead of despising him for all his wrongdoings and hurting his students nearly beyond repair. This manhwa is so unbelievably beautiful in the way the characters are portrayed!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

What they have cannot be measured under what's morally acceptable and that's fine. It's a very very special relationship that intrigues, confuses but catches the attention of both the curious that want to find out what keeps them together or if happy times are coming and those that reject that kind of treatment. We can't say they are traditionally happy but there is some content in their habits. But Garam does look for the conformity or compromise in his relationship with the professor. I knew he was bothered by the lack of interest or reaction when the professor didn't enquired more about the collab so in retaliation Garam stayed silent too but realized he missed him. Not only because he is his mentor and seeks his approval and recognition but the man that constantly tells him that all of him (Garam) is his (Heejae). Garam knew that the professor wouldn't be happy and he will confront him but the reaction of the professor was enormous. That's not a tantrum, it was a cry reflecting all his loneliness and fears to lose him. And Garam understood and felt relieved, he was important. He still cares.
Of course professor had to test him while seeking to feel comforted and the only way he knows is by harming him. Looking at his reactions and finding his affirmations to what's he's doing to him, arousing and relieved. And, while I think the manager was a handsome man, I think the professor is actually juxtaposition Garam's whole being into the memory of him. I believe it's not longer being the manager himself but the feeling is mutating and in his eyes is only Garam now. The sparkles covering Garam's whole body, making him (Heejae) fall even more.

Their sex scenes are so important. The dialogue that only happens there it's so telling about the current state of their minds when the intimacy reach their deepest parts and the animalistic instinct dare to creep out. But I do believe that Garam is exhausted of being the understanding part and in his own way also testing the professor and find solace when he gets his own affirmations. Even if they cut him deeply.

Also, this story has too many beautiful characters. Another handsome man joins the cast!!! Compton they say? Damn. Still love you Walter ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

I do like author's clear intention to make this look uncomfortable and disgusting because that's what clearly is. Yesung is nothing more than an object to let out his twisted sexual desires and so kind of a Muse for his 'art'. The ownership the boss feels towards Yesung and the way he uses him really doesn't have to do with Art or creativity. It's sick and I do like that Yesung is starting to see that and feeling more afraid and rejection but even when he can't do nothing to prevent it or say he doesn't want this done to him, his mind is searching for an escape from the situation while imagining Gyeol there, doing him.

But we know he can't do nothing about this. He's too deep and he still sees the boss as a... kind guardian or parental figure. He's being groomed to the core but that's why Gyeol presence is so important. What he feels for him is more than attraction, Gyeol is a force of nature if you let him be and Yesung sees that. And while I sometimes don't like Gyeol methods or that he's some kind of a brute, he does act, he keeps promises, he does want to protect him and if he had the opportunity, he'll kill the old man.

But still we have a couple more chapters of the boss being a disgusting creep and Yesung's falling again into that lowly state of mind.
