a niece and her estranged aunt learn to live together in the wake of tragedy. i started this manga solely because i thought the aunt was handsome (and she was!!), but it was lovely to discover the depth of this story - how grief manifests strangely and belatedly, how a mother can haunt you past her death, how love can persist and grow even if you don’t feel up for the challenge. such a beautiful story with such an emotionally satisfying payoff. 10/10
