It was not that satisfying bc in the end paula hasnt grown at all, she still thinks shes ugly, she still lacks confidence to speak up and she still relies on others to back her up (like whenever someone thing bad happens it always make her more upset of someone comes to defend her) im not saying that it cant happen, but you would kind of expect a well written character to have grown throughout the story, esp the main character. Instead the only well written characters we have are the 3 main men, who have all grown throughout the story. All the women seems 2 dimensional to me, which is sad because this is such a good manhwa
Right.. all the 3 main men had their character development since that’s the only thing they can do in the story because they’re already rich and privileged. Meanwhile, the FL is still out here fighting with her trauma; not to mention is still struggling to survive what with poverty and the constant threat of being assassinated still dangling right in front of her. I don't think she can magically be brave and confident with all of these worries still weighing on her.
I agree (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ aside from that. From the early chapters Paula is actually gaining confidence (she was actually developing as a character!) throughout her interactions with the 3 main characters. When the Assassination arc came that was when the "revert to zero" happened ╥﹏╥. when Paula actually lost the confidence and development she build up for her own self because she learned the gap between nobles and commoner's lives... Like political battles or fighting for inheritance or maybe power itself (although it's not a guarantee to be called "character development" it is still a big step for her as someone who went through a lot.) also Paula is really a down to earth character. She's not someone unlike a certain character (her trash sister). Although sometimes it's frustrating, Paula's trauma isn't something that can be easily healed even there are a lot supportive characters around her. It's not that easy! As CGPT mentioned, she just can't magically gain confidence to fight her trauma! And if you actually observant to what others say about Paula. They define her as "kind" and "Thoughtful"... I mean if a significant noble asked me to become their partner and I'm just a commoner! I'd probably act like Paula in that situation. This is actually the reason why I love this manhwa so much (≧∀≦)
Oh my, I'm yapping. Don't mind me, just stating an opinion! Feel free to say something?

I never believe people that say you shouldnt listen to someone when theyre angry… i think that when a person is angry they express themselves the most, how they truly feel. The anger is stuffy so they need to let their feelings out
I honestly believe this too. But at the same time, anger makes us so unfiltered, it does not allow us to organize our thoughts properly. So despite the opportunity to blow off the steam, it ends up becoming an explosion because all the narratives becomes a bundle of hurtful misunderstanding
I really want an arc where we get Vincent's perspective THE ANGST would be insane. Esp the part where he realises that shes his paula!!! I feel like it would make the story more intimate
