ah i see now so this is like instead of the mc remembering its the ml instead. so like its jus a different branch from the 1st timeline thats interesting. i wouldn't call this a 3rd timeline more like a branch from the 1st. still i hope the ml wont go about it horribly for revenge because the mc in this timeline aint exactly the same as the 1st.

im going to refer to them as mc and ml because its quicker to type out.
i dont really like to refer to their situation that they are both at fault. to me its more of a situation they put themselves in out of somewhat convenience or gaining something to help themselves. one does it for 'survival' and the other for 'care' but in full is isn't as simple.
mc is being in this situationship not only for his goal for nationals which is already hard enough if not impossible for an omega to achieve but because it is also the safest option for him(he was literally almost gangr*ped but he subdued them because he is a trained fighter). the world itself looks down on omegas in general and it makes it a bit rough on him that he is also unattractive for an omega but thats besides the point. he can't not accept himself as an omega as of yet and being in a relationship with the ml is not something he wants to do as of now. mc being in this situationship with the ml is not because he wants to but because he needs to, for his goals and because its the safest option. leaving the situationship would put him in danger and he'd have to find another alpha which he has no interest in or deal with far worse.
ml is also going through his own difficulties with accepting himself as an alpha. the worlds perception of alphas don't make it much of a struggle for him(as of now)... again he is just having his own issues with his relationship with the mc and his identity. his feelings for the mc and the fact that he cares about him is what makes him stay in their situationship in the first place. besides that he does not particularly struggle in his day to day life in terms of ruts as of now. he is in this relationship with the mc not because he needs to but because he wants to. he is taking advantage of the fact that the mc needs him for his goal and because he is the safest option he chooses. he in fact at anytime as well can leave their relationship and presue someone else. you may pity that his feelings are not being fully acknowledged but again he isn't being fully real with the mc, i mean how could he as of now both of them still haven't fully accepted their secondary sex.
many of you are blaming the mc for not putting into thought the ml's feelings about him. but you haven't put into thought their situation as of why. why he isn't acknowledging the ml's feelings. why he is putting himself in this situation. again i have explained why and they are all present within the story.
as long as they both haven't truely accepted themselves they will not learn to fully and confidently love each other.

double the plot twist wat the hell
usually with these stories there's a ghost(usually the seme) that likes a person but since they died and stuff complications happen then plot twist turns out bro was jus in coma and they live happily ever after
but this is a plot twist i was not expecting from the usual stuff this time they were both ghosts... now alot of the stuff that happened to the mc makes sense(ppl not noticing him)
honestly really not was i was expecting and that was the best part! they are both dead and together and they go on with each other for a while till they (im assuming) reincarnated and meet again.
