(straight/bi)Women don't care about unrealistic body proportions in yaoi because that unrealistic body of men appeals TO them. (exceptions ofc, this is a generalization). When they read straight smut however, they notice it because they are women themsel......
I mean, it’s exactly the same with yaoi, just the other way around. The men are portrayed as completely exaggerated and unrealistic, both physically and in terms of their personalities like the women are in josei.
I can't stand too this "but there are such women in real life" or "it's only fiction" Like no, that is just delulu.
