only chap 12 and I'm quitting. I like this type of plot but there's barely any substance. I get the initial attraction but what made them get close to each other since then? ML himself said he doesn't know much about the MC, and he doesn't. all I see is the MC pushing the ML away over and over. did their bond grew solely due to work and attraction? never anything personal besides the ML being a germaphobe? I thought his family and him being constantly in the showbiz would be explored further. and the MC really can't tell his closest friend about his grandma passing away? that's so weird. they're apparently so close and yet sooooo far away as where friendship is concerned, it makes me doubt the author had much else planned for their character profiles and actual plot. this is all a whole nothingburger and nothing new or creative under the sun. I've seen this plot done before and much better than this, I won't be wasting my time further
I can understand both Jaeyi and the brother. Jaeyi thinks his brother is stealing his parents from him due to all the attention he receives for his illness. His brother thinks Jaeyi is selfish because outside of the hospital Jaeyi supposedly has all of his parents attention and he's healthy, so how can't he get at least 10% of his parents attention
This is very realistic, one sibling gets neglected in favor of the other, learns to be neglected and get by on their own, while the other sibling who gets most of the attention because they need more help, resents the other because their parents talk about the other sibling as the model child who doesn't cause any issues. So both siblings think the other is the favorite
Their parents are at fault for how they handled this situation and made both brothers resent each other
I feel like it dragged in the middle and then it suddenly rushed in the end... but I'm satisfied.
